Privacy policy

The administrator of your personal data is Tax Venture Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Wrocław (50-414) at UL. GEN. We handle all information about you responsibly and in accordance with the law - in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (‘RODO’).

Please refer to the information contained therein. Regardless of the context in which we process your data, we explain below who has access to your data and what rights you have in relation to the processing of your data. The last section of this policy explains what cookies are and how we use them, within this website.

Who has access to your personal data?
Only our duly authorised employees or associates will have access to your personal data, to the extent that this is necessary for the performance of their duties. All of these persons are bound by professional secrecy - solicitor or barrister - which is one of the strongest legal mechanisms protecting the confidentiality of information about you, as well as appropriate confidentiality obligations.

Our billing data is entrusted to a professional accounting firm for processing. We also make limited use of work and records management tools such as Trello, DropBox or shared calendars, as well as hosting our email. All of these solutions provide an appropriate level of security for the range of data we process there, based on appropriate contracts and safeguards. If the servers were to be located outside the European Economic Area, we use the appropriate legal mechanisms to ensure the security of the transferred data (contractual clauses defined by the European Commission, Privacy Shield programme, etc.).

Your rights in relation to our processing of your personal data
For the efficient exercise of your rights, please address any requests to the following email address: biuro@taxventure.pl, from the address you have provided for contact, writing ‘RODO request’ in the title and specifying in the body which right you wish to exercise. To the extent that you have the following rights under RODO and Polish law:

Access to personal data.
- you can ask us:
- whether we process your personal data;
- for what purpose we process your personal data;
- what categories of data we process;
- who are the recipients of your data;
- what is the intended period of retention of your data and, where it is not possible to determine that period, the criteria for determining that period;
- if the personal data has not been collected from you, any available information about its source.You can also get an overview of the data processed about you.

Correction of data
- if information about you is/becomes incorrect or incomplete, you have the right to request an update.
Revocation of consent - you can revoke your consent to the processing of your data at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out before revocation.

Cancellation of data
- In certain situations, the RODO grants you the so-called right to be forgotten. You can exercise it if we continue to process your data, in particular in the following cases:
- your personal data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed;
- your withdrawal of your consent to the processing of your personal data, where at the same time there is no other legal basis for further processing;
- your objection to the processing of your personal data where there are no overriding legal and legitimate grounds for the processing;
- your objecting to the processing of your personal data for marketing purposes;
- the processing of your data unlawfully;
- a legal obligation to erase your data.

Limitation of processing
- There are certain situations where you may request that we limit our activities to basically only storing information about you. These are cases where:
- you question the accuracy of the personal data we process - for a period of time to allow us to check the accuracy of the data;
- the processing of your personal data is unlawful, but you prefer to restrict the processing instead of erasing it;
- we no longer need your personal data for the purposes of the processing, but you need it to establish, assert or defend your claims;
- you have objected to the processing of your personal data - only until we have resolved whether your interests outweigh our legitimate interests.

Transfer of data
- You have the right to receive your data in a commonly used computer-readable format and to have it transferred to another controller if:
- the processing is based on your consent or contract; and
- the processing is carried out by automated means.

Objection
- For reasons related to your particular situation, you may object to some of the operations we carry out, in particular in the following cases:
- when we base our processing on our legitimate interests;
- when we process your personal data for the purposes of scientific or historical research or for statistical purposes.Please note, however, that where, despite your objection, we conclude that there are compelling legitimate grounds for processing overriding your interests, rights and freedoms, or grounds for establishing, pursuing or defending claims, we will continue to process your data covered by the objection to the extent necessary. If you do not agree with this assessment of the situation, you may exercise your right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (more information below). Complaint to the supervisory authority - in connection with our activity as a controller of your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint to the supervisory authority, which in Poland is the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection (PUODO).

What are cookies? How do we use them?

Cookies are small text files sent by our server and stored on your device (e.g. on your computer's hard drive). They store information that we may need to adapt to the way you use our website and to collect statistical data. During your visit to our website, we are able to find out, for example, which browser and operating system you are using, what your IP address is, which pages of our website you have visited, what city the device from which you accessed our website was located. We collect all information received in this way as statistical data and use it exclusively for the purposes stated in this policy. Cookies are in no way harmful to you or the device you are using, as they do not make any configuration changes to it.
